1. This division is subject to the general rules and
regulations and to these division rules.
2. All breeding beef entries must check-in during the times
specified on the Schedule of Events.
3. At the specified time of check-in, the committee will
inspect registration papers or proof of birth date for unregistered
animals.IF ANIMALS ENTERED IN THIS
DIVISION DO NOT HAVE REGISTRATION PAPERS, THEY MUST BE SHOWN IN THE
NON-REGISTERED OR CROSS BREEDS DIVISIONS.
4. The Breeding Beef Committee for the breeding beef show
will determine the breed divisions.Registered or crossbreed animals may be entered in the Breeding Beef
Division.The Breeding Beef Committee
will determine breed classes according to the early entries of five (5) or more
entries.
5. No animal exhibited in the market steer show will be
allowed to compete in the Breeding Beef Show.Commercial Heifers may be doubled entered and show if they are not sold
at auction on the Friday before the Breeding Beef Show.Entry fees are non-refundable.
6. All animals must be halter broken.
7. All animals will be judged in the show ring and must be
exhibited by the owner (unless owner has two calves in one class or selecting
breed champion, or Committee chairperson grants permission).
8. No For Sale signs for animals will be permitted in the
barn.
9. Exhibitor must own all animals.
10. All bulls over one year of age must be shown with a nose
ring or nose tongs in use.A lead rope
must be attached to the nose ring or tongs and be in use.

BREEDING BEEF CATTLE SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST
1. This contest is open to all exhibitors in the Breeding
Beef Division.
2. 4-H and FFA member competing in this contest must have an
animal entered in the division and must own animals shown in showmanship
contest.
3. The showmanship contest will be conducted after the
Breeding Beef Cattle Judging.There
will be two age groups: Seniors exhibitors 14 years of age and older, and
Juniors exhibitors under 14 years of age.Contestants will be grouped according to their age on the date of
judging.
4. First and second place in each division will receive an award.
